The Harry C. Mathias Sr. Charitable Foundation has announced fall 2025 grants to the following organizations:
–$2,000 to the Exchange Swimming Pool
–$1,000 to the Watsontown Police Chief Carl Reed Christmas Fund
–$1,000 to Neighbors Helping Neighbors
–$500 to the Penitent Souls Christmas Gift Fund
–$1,000 to the Warrior Run High School Scholarship Fund to fund three scholarships: $500 to a college bound student majoring in the trades or education; and two $250 scholarships to the female and male outstanding leadership award.
–$500 to the Warrior Run Food Pantry
–$500 to the Watsontown Historical Association

The Foundation will be providing $500 to Turbotville Boro to go toward the cost of repairs to the Borough’s playground equipment located in the park near the Community Center.

The Harry C. Mathias Sr. Charitable Foundation has announced the following grants awarded at their Spring meeting:
–$2,000 was awarded to the Exchange Swimming Pool through the Northern Montour County Recreation Association.
–$1,000 was awarded to the Kids Cafe program which provides summer meals to area youth.
–$500 was awarded to the Montgomery House Library in McEwensville.
–$500 was awarded to Kingdom Kidz; a faith-based youth puppet program in Watsontown.
–$600 was awarded to the Danville Area Community Center for their swimming program for special needs students who attend Warrior Run School District.
